The creation of this work began 20 years ago. An underexposed 35mm film photograph from a subway in Prague. It stood out to me beyond the picture perfect holiday snaps; I see more of myself reflected in imperfect things. Framing them is a way of feeling seen from the confines of my room. This is an odd little piece and a deviation from my usual style, but for some reason I wanted to give it a platform. I am strangely attached to it in the same way that I get attached to obscure little rocks on the beach.
