A photograph made whilst Mina Banabak and Magdalena Chan worked on their contribution for the exhibition at Parallel together with other artist of the Summer Residency at Spektakel Vienna.
The chair made by transmedia artist Mina Banabak and Magdalena Chan connects their homes Linz and Vienna through the stream of the Danube. The intuitiv pop- and street style unmasks the women as the young representatives of the group. The collage is strongly influenced by Mina Banabak s approach to 2- and 3- Dimensional Collage. The photographs the artists used to create were originally photographed by Magdalena Chan. Although the two artists come from different fields and often separate their working processes, in this case they shared every step of the process and made all artistic decisions collectively. This led to a reflection about the youth and home they share, exchanging old and new stories which got translated into the piece they created.
