Polished stainless steel, metallic lacquer

The series consists of polished stainless steel mirror objects, partially overpainted to interrupt their reflective function. These works challenge the idea of the mirror as a site of clarity and self-recognition, instead presenting fragmented surfaces that question visibility, perception, and material presence. Augenschein references both the act of seeing and its juridical implication of establishing truth, which is deliberately undermined in these unstable, image-bearing objects.
