Gallery ARTECONT, located in Vienna, operates two distinct branches. The first branch features paintings from global contemporary (Billi Thanner, Adel Dauood, and Osama Zatar), Austrian radical painting (Jakob Gasteiger), concrete painting (Robert Schaberl, Michael Kravagna), and material painting (Franz Grabmayr, Michael Kos). In its second branch Artecont has developed an AI/VR Lab which builds custom made web based VR Installationspaces for 3D art projects. Our first project was the Vienna Digital Summer 2023 with major positions like Ubermorgen, Christa Sommerer & Laurent Mignonneau and the young Vienna based digital art scene. "Vienna Digital Summer 2024" focused on Artificial General Intelligence (AGI), the challenges of alignment, and the unpredictability of human existence in a post-AGI world. We collaborate with the Institute for Experimental Game Culture at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and the Institute for Digital Art at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and other cultural institutes.
