Simon Goritschnig

Simon Goritschnig was born in 1988 and is living and working in Vienna. He explores the different qualities and possibilities of drawing. In sight specific installations, he addresses narratives from within biology and science fiction and works with computer aided techniques, such as drawing machines, computer games and 3D printing. He has been awarded the Ernst-Beranek-Fellowship and received the 6-months Fellowship at Cité des Arts International Paris by the City of Klagenfurt. His works are part of the collection of the Museum of Modern Arts Carinthia and he has shown his works in Austria, Poland, France, Sweden, UK and China.
