Product Description

SKINs
In the installation, the seemingly opposing materials of glass and corrugated sheet metal are combined to form a harmonious symbiosis. The material becomes the central theme in this process by consciously transferring the traces of the galvanized corrugated sheet metal to the glass in a controlled manner and allowing them to merge. This fusion of contrasts creates a new dimension. The work process reflects my in-depth exploration of materiality and concepts of use.
The presentation of the work in the space plays a decisive role by consciously creating an intensive connection between the artwork and its surroundings. Each space thus becomes a part of the art and enables an intensive exchange that further deepens the complexity of the work and generates new insights.
The work reflects questions of identity and belonging, which play an important role in my work.
