Oana Ionel lives and works in Bucharest, these are pandemic works, close related to her seria “Secret Stories of Danube River”, where she describes the diversity along the Danube, symbolized by Ada Kaleh, the Island sunk 1972 in the floods of Danube. Ada Kaleh had been a symbol for ethnic diversity on the Balkans, until it had been erased from the map. “In our people to people contact, we had been much more advanced then now, after Europe drunk the poison of nationalism”.
