Product Description

Ceramic glazed, Stoneware, Glass,

Glass objects found at flea markets are melted onto the artworks. The glass, once functional items with their own histories, is melted and applied to the surface of the vases, reflecting the process of memory transformation. The fluid lines of the melted glass, leaving traces of its once utilitarian purpose on the ceramics, are contrasted with the stability and solidity of the clay forms. The artist’s works evoke a sense of both loss and beauty, representing how memories, images of the past, and personal stories undergo transformation. The interaction of melted glass with ceramics creates the impression that memories, like liquid forms, gradually take on new shapes. The flowing, dripping glass recalls elusive yet indelible images of the past that cannot be completely erased. The transformation of memory and nostalgia through the interplay of materials.
