Product Description
This is the newest work in a series of explorations about how architecture can support us in reconnecting with ourselves. Inspired by prayer niches found in different cultures and spiritual spaces, it is designed to look like the window of a traditional Eastern European home. This rectangular wall with a cavity in the centre invites the viewer to kneel in front of it and place their head into the space, which isolates much of the sound from beyond it, and amplifies the whispers of the viewer. Such spaces were created for private prayer and contemplation, and this space offers a quiet space for reflection, an opportunity to finally cut through the noise and hear yourself.
