…I create all my works under the open sky, in nature, regardless of weather conditions. In this way, the works become a dialogue with nature. In these situations, the paintings become a medium in the broken connection between humans and nature.
Dialogue is the key word. Through the painting, it is established with nature. Within this dialogue, content is created. During the process, the painting lies horizontally, on the ground. I use natural pigments and mediums on canvas. I do not resist the effects of powerful forces in this process. I follow them.
I let them shape the work. I observe and guide, respecting their role in forming the painting. A dialectic arises between intention and chance, which become one. In this process, new knowledge is always gained — about the world, energies, flows…
