Amalia deals with the nude self-portrait and creates images, through which she explores the fragility of the human psyche, the image/identity one gives to oneself and the roles that one represents and believes define them.
In her photographs, she creates an atmosphere inspired by the Expressionist movement in cinema with strong lighting contrasts. At the same time, she uses a variety of fabrics and materials on the naked body to impart the emotional state she wants to capture.
