Product Description
The artistic practice of Aleksandar Stanojević Kempa represents a synthesis of the exploration of the human figure, everyday life, and contemporary society through painting and sculptural forms. The focus is on the portrait—not only as a representation of the individual, but also as a symbol of their role within consumer society, its consequences, and the traces it leaves behind. In his paintings, the portrait is transformed into an expression of modern alienation and the loss of individuality. Faces with distorted expressions and symbols of mass culture point to the individual s inability to express personal opinion, trapped within the matrix of contemporary norms and the influence of mass media. Through a layered and multi-meaning narrative, the artistic language becomes a space for collective memory, critique, and questioning of reality.
