PROJECT STATEMENT 2026 – AFTER WHITE – Hybride Couture
Following the success of previous years (“Die Kinder vom ‘Spiegelgrund’ – WASH YOUR SOUL” und “Ein Regenbogen vom ‘Spiegelgrund’ bis Gxxx and around the world – MIND the ‘Spiegel’) , omarte gallery presents its latest project “AFTER WHITE – Hybride Couture” in Room 305 (Pavilion 13) at Parallel Vienna 2026. This site-specific installation deliberately responds to spatial constraints, transforming the former nursing management office into a concentrated laboratory setting – the final stop of the system. At its core is the human experience in the age of artificial intelligence, situated within algorithmic structures oscillating between control and loss of control. A surreal, psychological space where identity dissolves, examining the essence of autonomy and hybridity.

Nach den erfolgreichen Einreichungen der Vorjahre (“Die Kinder vom ‘Spiegelgrund’ – WASH YOUR SOUL” und “Ein Regenbogen vom ‘Spiegelgrund’ bis Gxxx and around the world – MIND the ‘Spiegel’) präsentiert die omarte gallery auf der Parallel Vienna 2026 ihr neues Projekt „AFTER WHITE – Hybride Couture“ in Raum 305 (Pavillon 13). Die ortsspezifische Installation reagiert bewusst auf die räumliche Verknappung und transformiert den ehemaligen Raum der „Bereichsleitung Pflege“ in eine konzentrierte Laborsituation – eine Endstation des Systems. Im Zentrum steht der Mensch im Zeitalter der künstlichen Intelligenz, situiert innerhalb algorithmischer Strukturen im Spannungsfeld zwischen Kontrolle und Kontrollverlust. Ein surrealer, psychologischer Raum, in dem sich Identität auflöst und die Essenz von Autonomie und Hybridität verhandelt wird.
