Product Description
The work explores how affect shapes individual experience within unstable social environments. It examines the influence of upbringing, the perception of information, and the emotional responses that emerge. At its core, it addresses the consequences of the interplay between our inner and outer worlds.
Mental health is the central focus of the collective. It refers to a state in which a person is able to cope with the everyday challenges of life, regulate their emotions, maintain social relationships, and shape their life in a way that leads to a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.
The collective does not see itself as a guide to a better or healthier life. Rather, it aims to destigmatize mental illnesses such as anxiety disorders, depression, and other emotional and psychological challenges through public engagement in the form of exhibitions, talks, and workshops.
The stigmatization and taboo surrounding mental health are deeply rooted and can prevent people from seeking help when they need it. By encouraging a more open and empathetic conversation about mental health, the collective seeks to foster understanding, break down prejudices, and help those affected receive the support they need.
