Diego Mikava

Diego Mikava (b. Georgia, based in Vienna) presents a site-specific installation at Parallel Vienna. His work examines how transitional spaces are created after post-industrial collapse, exploring what kind of cohabitation exists between harsh urban architecture and hidden, intimate connection. Working with LED lightboxes, translucent tape collage transfers, and poetry, the installation archives invisible, passing moments to build a sanctuary and project a queer utopia into the future.
