About the art project "Atlas Angewandte, 2023": Angewandte is an institution of diversity; being one of the first academies that female students could study,having 1700 students from 70 countries in 2021. The project aims to understand the diverse richness and to demonstrate the demography of Angewandte in years focusing on the gender and geography of students. It emphasizes the growing diversity inside the community with the method of digitizing the archive and statistics, visualization of the data, and turning it in to an atlas of the cultural diversity of Angewandte. As a multi-layered digital archive research project, the statistics of the years 1993 and 2023 were studied, re-analyzed, and processed using creative coding tools. Data and the processing of these data embrace the interactive application, a living body existing in continuous connection forms and a constant change of the cross-cultural structure of the university. The video and digital print installations reflect the evolution of cultural variety over the years. This open-source, newly processed data for the Angewandte community is accessible online to the public. This project which highlights transnationality and togetherness creates an atlas of the cultural diversity of the students and the evolution of this multiculturalism in the 30 years of history of Angewandte."
