Stable worldviews no longer exist. They are subject to constant change and dynamic interdependence. Our familiar perception of nature and historical and social events seems to be disintegrating. Landscape and nature in the images of Albin Schutting and Elisabeth Schutting are carriers of social and personal themes; their representations create moods—the view of the landscape and nature can be interpreted as a view of the future. Based on their view of nature in the form of landscape, living beings, and flora, the artists each contribute individual works to the project.
The central element of the presentation is a video based on one image from each of the two artists. The digitized works are brought together and transformed in a jointly developed video work. One merges into the other, dissolves, and is transformed into another image, another view of the world.
Not only formally, but also in terms of content, the focus is on a fluid worldview. The video work is to be understood as a metaphor for a constantly changing world/nature—the human influence on it and the responsibility for it.
This joint work raises the question of the value of the individual and his or her representation in the art world as well as in social, ecological, and economic spheres of life.

Stabile Weltbilder existierten nicht mehr. Sie sind einem standigen Wandel, einer dynamischen Verflechtung unterworfen. Unsere gewohnte Wahrnehmung von Natur, historischen und sozialen Ereignissen scheint in Auflosung zu sein. Landschaft und Natur in den Bildern von Albin Schutting und Elisabeth Schutting sind Trager von gesellschaftlichen wie personlichen Themen; ihre Darstellungen erzeugen Stimmungen – der Blick in die Landschaft und die Natur kann als Blick in die Zukunft gedeutet werden. Ausgehend von ihrer Betrachtungsweise auf Natur in Form von Landschaft, Lebewesen und Pflanzenwelt, bringen die Kunstlerin und der Kunstler jeweils individuelle Werke in das Projekt ein.
Als zentrales Element der Prasentation wird ein Video gezeigt, das je ein Bild der beiden als Grundlage hat. Die digitalisierten Werke werden in einer gemeinsam entwickelten Videoarbeit, zusammengefuhrt und transformiert. Das eine fugt sich ins andere, lost sich auf, wird in ein anderes Bild, eine andere Sicht auf die Welt gewandelt.
Nicht nur formal auch inhaltlich geht es um ein fluides Weltbild. Die Videoarbeit ist als Metapher fur eine sich standig wandelnde Welt/Natur zu verstehen – dem menschlichen Einfluss darauf und der Verantwortung dafur.
Diese gemeinsame Arbeit stellt die Frage nach dem Wert des Individuums und seiner Reprasentation in der Kunstwelt und ebenso in sozialen, okologischen wie okonomischen Lebensbereichen.
