Bel Art is engaged in presenting artists, organizing exhibitions, simposia, workshops and art books publishing. It is oriented towards artists, art professionals, young and general audience. The organization / gallery exhibits most important modern and contemporary artists together with emerging young ones. Collaborates with a large number of organizations, institutions and galleries in the country and abroad. In 2013, Bel Art has launched international contemporary art festival Danube Dialogues. (www.danubeartfestival.com) Our vision is to be a regionally relevant contemporary art gallery focused on presenting selected artists on the international art scene and encouraging international cooperation, exchange and artists mobility. Our misson is to create a genuine international platform by bringing together emerging and established artists. The priority is given to innovative approaches and curatorial practice. In our programme, we pay special attention to the education of our audience, especially young people. Special communication for the purpose of education is achieved with high school students, for whom we organize workshops and educational programs, aiming to bring contemporary art practice closer to the teenagers. This is especially important because regular high school programs (curriculums) do not include subjects that educate in the field of (contemporary) art. Workshops are led by specialized pedagogues, who primarily deal with art, with the involvement of art critics, artists, curators and other experts in the field of art. Another type of workshops are maintained in cooperation with the Voluntary Service, which is well developed in Novi Sad. As part of this program, high school students are trained to be guides at the contemporary exhibitions in galleries and museums. The programme is implemented in cooperation with curators and experts from museums and galleries as follow up programme.
